Watch Kristen Stewart in “The Runaways”
Kristen Stewart’s film “The Runaways” opened in theatres March 19 and I’m biting at the bullet to see it. I’m a big fan of Joan Jett and the Runaways, as they had a hard road to success and fame. So, I couldn’t resist putting up a Dress4Less segment with Kristen Stewart showing off her Joan Jett gear as she heads to the set of Regis and Kelly. Hat Style: Fedora
Hair Style: Contrast the angles of the hat with loose feminine waves.
Why This Works: Loose feminine waves are a great way to wear your hair under a Fedora. This type of hat has very sharp, menswear angles. This is off-set by the softer hairstyle.
How To Achieve This Look: This type of hair style works best on medium to longer length hair. If hair has a natural wave, simply apply a curl enhancing products like P2 by Philip Pelusi ReCurl to boost waves and BeachComber to add texture and let hair dry or dry with a diffuser attachment on your blow dyer. If hair is straight, use a big barrel curling iron to add curls, some facing towards and some facing away from the face.

Hat Style: Newsboy cap
Hair Style: Create ballerina-esque bun at the nape of the neck.
Why This Works: Wearing a ballerina-esque bun at the nape is perfect combination with this tomboyish type Newsboy cap look. Also the Newsboy cap is supposed to be worn low on the forehead and this tends to cover most of the entire forehead. Wearing a ballerina bun pulls the hair back off the face opening to face up.
How To Achieve This Look: Part hair in the center and smooth hair back into a low ponytail at the middle of the nape. Use a hair smoothing bore bristle brush and a hair smoothing product like Tela? The preshow starts @ 8pm EST and is the best part of the show next to the live music performances. She will be on the red carpet to interview A-list celebs as they enter Radio City Music Hall and of course to discuss what and who they are wearing. Her predictions for best dressed include a Gossip Girl and two singing Divas. “I think Leighton Meester has really great style. I think Beyoncé always has really cool things,” she said. “ always has the craziest fashion ever, and I’m really excited to see if she’ll come over and chat with me about her inspiration, what she does. I feel like she makes her own world and her own fashion world.”
Greene seems as “Green” about the fashion world as her character Alice is about the Vampire world; when asked what fellow co stars Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson will be wearing for the redmcarpet she said, “Gosh, I have no idea. I feel like the guys have it a little bit easier. They will probably just wear some sort of tie or jeans and a nice shirt.”
What makes her a fashionista? Is MTV that desperate to be tied to the Twilight series that they will have just anyone giving fashion advice? Come on… I love Twilight as much as anyone does, in fact I am reading the novel as we speak but Ashley who? At least Taylor Swift, who was last years fashion correspondent is a credible choice to give advice since she has her own fashion line. Where is the beef MTV? Greene might be sweet and pretty but let’s not get all mushy about fashion. This is serious buziness

Kristen Stewart made famous from the “Twilight” series of movies is turning underground for a bio pic on legendary rocker Joan Jett and her all girl band “The Runaways”. Kristen shocked her home grown fans with her mullet hair cut and black dyed hair. Although I think she pulls off this rocker chic look pretty well, it certainly had her fans in a tizzy. Where did the sweet lil girl from next door go? Looks like she has a dark side as well. However, she has started filming for the second installment entitled “New Moon” and recently has been seen with a not so realistic wig as it is a bit too poofy on top, bad blending at the roots, and it makes her forehead square-ish. You be the judge and see if you can tell which is the wig and which is her real hair.
