I’m sure everyone has heard of paint by numbers, right? Now there is Dress by Numbers! Celebrities always have the cutest styles and even though they have the bank accounts to buy the trendiest stuff, a lot of times the designers give them the fruit of their labors for free. Why? Well for advertising of course! You can’t buy that kind of publicity since everyone Tivo’s over the commercials now a days anyways. So,if you want to dress like a celebrity and no one is sending you free stuff then here is a simple 1..2…3… for stuff that is next to free.
1. Protect your haircolor with this cute Fedora from AmiClubwear for only $17.99
2. Tom Ford Look a Like Sunnies will keep the Paparazzi glare away and for less than a mocha latte!
3. DVF perfected the wrap dress so here is a cute alternative at $31.99 from Kohls.
Well it’s no secret that I can’t resist anything with a little bit of sparkle. I love to pair over the top items with casual pieces for an unexpected look. Like this Gryphon crocheted mini from Bloomingdales with a simple white tank, faded denim shirt with a worn brown leather belt. Totally chic without looking like you tried too hard! But if $250 is a little too maxi for this mini of a skirt then try this sequin mini from Guess for only $49! And the best part is that it is machine washable… Oh yeah!
Both will make you stand out in a crowd but why pay more for a trend that will be gone by next year and now you’re out almost 300 bones. Save your splurges for timeless pieces unless well… you just gotta have it!
Which one do you like better?
There is nothing better than clothes that have a story behind them. Part of the shopping high is the thrill of the hunt. Finding a fashionable item on sale, in your size and still in style is a fashion triumph. I have a few weaknesses and one is harem pants. I have been looking for a fashionable pair that are flattering to wear. Ones that look more like genie pants than hammer pants. I recently did a Eva Mendes Celebrity bio and she had on a pair that were so cute. Well, today I found a pair that look just like her but in a silvery grey color and they are a silk blend for $7.99! That is an unbelievable find. Of course I went online and purchased a pair as they won’t last long. I will post a pic and review to let you know what I find. My second weakness is tunics. I love me a tunic in the summer time. They go with shorts, jeans, or just over a bathing suit. Super chic and comfortable. So, I did a little research and found a green tye dye tunic for $9.99. Unbelievably cute, don’t you think? Finally, handbags... handbags… and more handbags! The bigger the better. Big slouchy bags are being sported by every Celebrity these days. But you don’t have to pay thousands of dollars to look chic. Here is a metallic silver bag that is gorg! It is currently online for $11.24 but don’t wait cause they will be gone in no time. I love it when fashion becomes fun again and people are forced to rely on their fashion “cents” instead of being bullied by a bunch of label whores who tell people what to wear and how to wear it. Saving money has become fashionable again. Here! Here!

Celebrities love Marc Jacobs fashion and they aren’t afraid to show it. They flock to his runway shows, wear his designs on the red carpet and on a daily basis. At this years Met Gala Anne Hathaway wore a purple satin dress that combined girly style with an edge. Very Marc Jacobs! The problem for me is that while his style is casual, it is also very expensive. However, it seems like Marc Jacobs finally realized that not everyone wants to pay $1000 for a tshirt. Introducing his new budget friendly line… Jacobs by Marc Jacobs. Hmmm… seems very familiar to his mid priced line geared towards teens entitled Marc by Marc Jacobs. I’ve never known any designer that loves to see his name written over and over again on his merchandise. But I digress… anyways, it’s getting a bit cliche but for now the stars seems enchanted with this designer along with millions of others. Almost all of the items, found in the “special items” of his site are under $100 each! I found this super chic leather band with a metal plaque enscribed with Italian phrases for only $7 each. The extra twist in the new Jacobs by Marc Jacobs collection is that it features the work of artists with disabilities, and 100% of the proceeds go to the Creative Growth Art Center. I guess being in love really does make you a better person. BTW… Marc is now engaged to his ad executive boyfriend of over a year now, Lorenzo Marton. This range of t-shirts, totes, and wallets is creative with a conscious! This Jacobs merchandise is only available at Marc Jacobs stores and online but if you want Celebrity style on a budget then this collection hits the Marc.
