RIP My Friend Dennis Hopper1 comment

OMG!  My heart is truly saddened today with the news of Dennis Hopper passing away at his home in Venice Beach, Ca.  His arduous battle with prostate cancer finally claimed this brilliant artists life.  He was a film maverick and certainly a role model and he will be missed.  I met Dennis at the 2007 CineVegas Film Festival where my film “CondomNation” showed not once but twice at the world renown International Film Festival.  I will never forget the kind words spoken by Dennis, “I personally hand picked your film and really enjoyed it!” These gentle words of encouragement spoken by an acting, directing and producing genius have always meant the world to me.  I will cherish the memory of the “Blue Velvet” screening with David Lynch and how candid you spoke of your demons and coming to terms with them.  I wish for you to Rest in Peace my dear sweet man!  Here are some photos in remembrance of such a good time!
