This year I got invited to attend the 2011 Daytime Emmy Awards in Las Vegas, Nv. thanks to Hydroxatone, The Official Skincare Sponsor of the Daytime Emmy Awards. It’s no wonder everyone’s skin looked so radiant.

I have an affinity for Soap Operas as “The Young and the Restless” was my first Soap acting job I did as a teenager. They were the nicest cast and crew to work with by far in my many years in the business.  So congratulations on winning best directing team this year.  You deserve it!

The red carpet was ablaze with paparazzi and fans who were so eager to catch a glimpse of their favorite daytime stars.  And the celebrities didn’t disappoint as they sweetly signed everyone autographs and took slews of pictures with their fans.

Anyways, the show was hosted by Wayne Brady with amazing performances by Blu Man Group, Gladys Knight, Celine Dion and a special tribute to Oprah Winfrey. And besides a few blunders like the “Cash Cab” cutie being in the bathroom when he won his award or running out of time to properly introduce Meridith Vieira, overall it was a success.

After the show we were whisked away to an intimate cocktail party where I was reunited with one of my old directors from Young and the Restless.  It was great catching up and seeing him and his beautiful wife.  By then my feet were killing me so we found our table and lo and behold we get to sit with “Cash Cab”!!!  One of my favorite shows on TV right now.  Dinner was amazing and so was the company.  Here is a little taste of what we had to eat.

It’s no secret I am a Big Brother fanatic! There is no talking, moving or interrupting me when Big Brother is on. I’m addicted! I know… it’s a problem! Get over it So, anyways, while sequestered in the Big Brother Jury House, southern belle Britney Haynes’s house was destroyed in a fire this morning. No worries, her fiance was able to leave the house safely so that is great news but man what a string of luck.  First she gets blind sided by the “Brigade” and sent to the jury house to live with fire crotch demon Rachel and now this? Maybe this is a new beginning for you and your fiance so look for the positive and I hope you at least win America’s Favorite Houseguest for $25,000!  Good Luck Brit Brit! We Love You!

The troubled heiress Paris Hilton has resorted to her former pleas of “That’s not mine!” Just in case you fell under a rock and didn’t know, Paris was detained by Las Vegas police who allegedly found a small amount of cocaine in her purse.  Police say they were tipped off to her vehicle because of the smell of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. Then when Paris asked to go inside and wait, she took out her lip balm and cocaine fell out of her purse.  Hmmm… sounds a little like someone has it out for Paris. Cause I know that if I had something in my purse that I didn’t want the cops to find, the first thing I would do is take out my lipbalm.  I’m sorry but this story stinks of Vegas corruption.  Good thing she has famed Vegas attorney, David Chesnoff who released a statement urging people not to make a “rush to judgment.” She was released without bail and the prosecution has not decided to press charges. Paris used this same excuse last month when detained in South Africa and no charges were filed then either.

UPDATE: Paris will be charged with Felony for possession of a controlled substance.

I just wonder, if it wasn’t her purse then why was she getting out her lip balm from someone else’s bag? Gross!  Besides… Paris wouldn’t carry such a cheap bag anyways.  Have you seen that purse? What do you think? Guilty or Not?

Seriously… WTF! Listen Megan Fox, we all know you want to get into the minds and shirts of teenage boys but literally wearing your stepsons shirts is going too far. What’s next? Maybe you will wear his pants as shorts? Hey with Megan Fox you never know what you are going to get… or do you? I wonder when Brian Austin Greene’s son puts on his shirt after “Step Mommy” has worn it, does he tell all his friends? Sell it on ebay? Or just waft in the teenage dream of having Megan Fox for a Mom?

Megan has made no secret of the fact that she is ready to be maternal with Brian stating, “I worry that because I’ve always wanted kids so much, as the world goes sometimes, I won’t be able to have them – even though I would be able to provide them with such an amazing environment.” Sounds like she has amazing parental skills already!
