Ashlee Simpson Drama on Melrose Place

As if Melrose Place didn’t have enough drama already, Ashlee Simpson has to add some more but this time with a healthy price tag attached.  The pave diamond encircled knuckle-to-knuckle cocktail ring features a chunk of Moldavite that Dubinet says, “comes from a meteor that hit the earth 15 million years ago and left the little nodules in the Czech Republic.” With a value of over 12 grand!  She was wearing the powerful-blinged out Moldavite ring by Dara Dubinet when it slipped out of her fingers and broke. “It was time for her to stop wearing it,” says Dubinet.  ”When a stone is lost, broken  or stolen it is simply because it is not needed anymore. ”

Thankfully the designer said she was willing to give Ashley a new one if she wanted it but I say Hey… spread the powerful stones around to the rest of us!  Clearly she doesn’t need any help from the cosmos.  She seems to be doing just fine as she recently married Wentz, had a baby, got a clothing line from Wet Seal, and now a new TV show.  I mean come on… clearly she doesn’t need any help from a meteorite to get what she wants out of life.

“Moldavite has magnificent monumental energy” she said “I believe that she had absorbed all the energy she needed from the stone and it wasn’t meant to be on her any longer.”
